Clark's Debate provides experienced coaches who will assist you and your child in learning and excelling in both the team policy and parliamentary events. Our dedicated team understands the nuances of coaching individuals, regardless of their prior debate experience. We create a supportive and enjoyable environment where campers are empowered to advance their skills and thrive. In order to facilitate student collaboration, camps are offered in person only.

Our Introduction to Team Policy Debate camp is specifically designed for students with no prior debating experience, regardless of whether they are exploring debate for fun or aspiring to participate in team policy competitions. It provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of team policy debate, covering theory, argument construction, debate strategies, and research skills. By the conclusion of the course, students will have acquired an affirmative case, a few negative briefs.

Our Advanced Team Policy Debate camp caters to experienced debaters aiming to elevate their skills to the next level. We will delve into various aspects, including identifying suitable partnership positions, designing impactful affirmative cases, providing a campaign overview, exploring advanced debate theory, discussing advanced concepts in negative strategy, and conducting an in-depth analysis of the upcoming resolution. With the guidance of our seasoned coaches, debaters will embark on the fall campaign with momentum, striving towards the national championship tournament. Minimum one year of Team Policy debate experience is required.

The Parliamentary Debate camp is designed to be beneficial for both "novices" and experienced debaters in the Parli format. Our experienced coaches will provide guidance in Parli debate theory, case construction for both Government and Opposition, flow management techniques, resolution analysis, efficient use of prep time, speaker position selection, and equipping students for competitive success. Minimum one year of Team Policy or Lincoln Douglas debate experience or age 14 and up is required.
