Students: Debaters plan to compete in STOA Team Policy in 2026-27

Our Advanced Team Policy Debate Camp caters to experienced debaters aiming to elevate their skills to the next level by preparing for the 2026-27 campaign. We will focus on the resolution The U.S. Federal Government should substantially reform its agriculture policy.

We will discuss affirmative case ideas for 2026-27, AFF as well as NEG strategy.  We will cover multiple topics in advanced debate theory, and map these ideas into flow management.  We will examine current fads in Stoa Team Policy debate, many of which have become popular despite being strategically suboptimal.  We will discuss how to respond to these common patterns by first stepping outside the trend and then learning how to use it to strategic advantage.  We will analyze the upcoming campaign and discuss how it will play out. One goal is to launch this year’s AFF so students can hit the ground running when the first check marks are handed out.

Minimum one year of Team Policy debate experience is required.
